One of the tenets our school teaches is perseverance. You keep going even though you want to quit. And everyone wants to quit, at least two or three times on the way from white to black belt.
A black belt, our Sabonim says, is a white belt who never quit.
I am trying to summon that same attitude for the Post a Day challenge.
On a night like tonight, when I’m tired, lacking inspiration, unfocused and still reworking yesterday’s post, it would be easy to skip an entry.
But I persevere. When all else fails, write about the challenge of writing.
