Take Me Out to the Ballgame

I adore baseball fiction. It is always a love story.

I do not care to watch the game on television – too many explanations.

I attended a game close by my home.  The sun shone through the chain metal fence.  A soft breeze came in off the lake. The players were serious, while the parents were talkative.

So they were crushed.  But they stayed in the game.

Their perseverance made it beautiful.

  1. What a wonderful insight. Life is full of such wonderful scenes, people and actions, but what is even more wonderful is our ability to percieve and appreciate them!
