The World Needs More Martial Artists (Assignment Pantun)

Watching the news out of Boston tonight, I can’t help but reflect on our Grandmaster’s directive:  Love each other.  Without love, there is trouble.  Be kind.  Smile.  What you do, how you are impacts others.

Poem #12 is again a NaPoWriMo suggestion.  The form is called a pantun.  It is a traditional Malay form – a quatrain with 6-8 syllables per line, abab rhyme. There is supposed to be an associative jump from the first couplet to the second.

Hope
I wore my sunglasses
The morning brightly made
Everyday that passes
I will not be afraid.
